Market Statistics - Dassel/Cokato Area

2010 saw continued downward pressure on pricesof homes in the D/C area. Total number of sales of single family homes was 89. The average sale price was $133,694. This compared to 2009, when total number of sales was 100, with average sale price of $146,022.

Almost half, (41), of all homes sold were inthe $100,000 - $200,000 price range, with 30 sold in the 0 - $100,000 range. A significant number of sales in 2010 were foreclosures (27), with the average foreclosure sale price of $89,468 putting pressure on prices overall.

Through the first 2 months of 2011 there have been 13 sales with an average price of $151,317
