Market Statistics - Dassel/Cokato Area 

2009 saw a continued downward change in prices of homes in the D/C area. Total number of sales of single family homes was 90. The average sale price was $149,538.
Almost half, (39), of all homes sold were in the $100,000 - $200,000 price range, with 28 sold in the 0 - $100,000 range. This compared to 2008, when total number of sales was 89, with average sale price of $160,778.

A significant number of sales in '09 were foreclosures or short sales putting downward pressure on prices overall.
